POLYCHROME FIGURE - Anthropomorphic figure with a frontal and hieratic presence, made of various materials, with arms at chest level and supported on a base. The body is entirely enveloped by a long, compartmentalized rectangular panel, with geometric motifs and small applied oval elements, in a palette of reds, blues, and golds, showing a patina of use. The head reveals polychrome coating in a mosaic pattern, a prominent crest, and large earflaps; elongated legs complete the silhouette. It exhibits characteristics that may refer to West African traditions, due to the integral mask, geometric repetition, and the presence of elements evoking cowries.
