Bidspirit auction | SCULPTURAL PIECE

SCULPTURAL PIECE - Piece in various materials, with a conical and markedly curved body, with a well-defined dark patina. The surface combines smooth areas with dotted texture and applied bands of geometric motifs; at the top, it has a ring handle and a profiled end, resting on a quadrangular base. It exhibits characteristics that may refer to traditional African horns, due to its 'tusk' shape, integrated handle, and sequence of decorated bands.
