HEAD - Sculpted head in metal alloy, of great verticality, with a tall conical openwork headdress and a ring finial, a face with idealized features and almond-shaped eyes. The ringed neck rests on a quadrangular base with textured panels and relief friezes. Dark brown patina, with worn sheen on the protrusions, which accentuates the modeling and richness of the details. The composition and certain motifs – ringed neck, high crown with applications and intertwined friezes – show characteristics that may refer to Benin (Edo) productions.
