HEAD - Head sculpture in metallic alloy, with a frontal presence and defined volumes, featuring a polished face with a golden hue that contrasts with the darker patina of the ringed neck and the tall conical headdress. The almond-shaped eyes, straight nose, and closed mouth confer solemnity, while the headdress displays an axial rib, lateral protuberances, and a superior finial. The piece exhibits characteristics that may refer to the court tradition of the ancient Kingdom of Benin, suggested by the ringed necklace, facial naturalism, and the morphology of the headdress.
