Bidspirit auction | SEATED FIGURE

SEATED FIGURE - Anthropomorphic terracotta figure, with compact volumes and marked stylization, featuring prominent almond-shaped eyes and a central incised crest that structures the face. Seated on a cylindrical base, it displays elongated arms alongside the torso and hands holding two funnel-shaped elements near the mouth; a circular embossed navel and fine incisions stand out on the belly. Dark, polished surface, with a homogeneous patina and wear on the protrusions that accentuate the modeling. The head culminates in an upper circular opening, integrated into the formal construction of the piece.
