Bidspirit auction | SCULPTURAL PIECE

SCULPTURAL PIECE - Wooden sculpture, seemingly carved from a single block, with a crescent-shaped seat supported by an elliptical base and wide cut-out sides. In the center, a schematic anthropomorphic motif stands out, with defined legs, creating a play of voids and lending lightness to the ensemble. Surfaces with a use patina, softened edges, and discreet tool marks. The morphology may resemble East African headrests, due to the pronounced concavity and open structure.
