STATUETTE - Anthropomorphic figure in various materials, vertical in stature and serene in expression, crowned by an elaborate cranial adornment with lateral pendants. Surface with strong texture and heterogeneous patina, with applied relief covering the torso and legs, a belt with small pendants, and ornamented feet. Elongated arms ending in horn-shaped elements; face with scarifications, half-closed eyes, and marked lips. It exhibits characteristics that may refer to Central African productions, possibly related to Kongo/Songye traditions, due to the systematic use of applications, integration of “horns” and ornamental accumulation.
