Bidspirit auction | CYLINDRICAL SCULPTURE

CYLINDRICAL SCULPTURE - Cylindrical sculpture with a stylized face in relief, made from various materials. The surface features a dense composition of appliqués and incisions in crossed geometric patterns, with blue and white accents over a brown patina. Annular top and base reinforce the totemic verticality, with three circular elements marking the forehead and cheeks. Due to its frontal mask typology and rhythmic ornamentation, it may approach productions from Central/West Africa.
