STATUETTE - Anthropomorphic wooden figure, with an elongated body and oval base, with raised arms and fan-shaped palms. Stylized face with incised beard and half-closed eyes, torso marked by geometric engravings, schematized hands and feet; brown patina with signs of use and drying cracks. The posture with raised arms and the repertoire of incisions present characteristics that may suggest sculptural traditions from West Africa, possibly related to the Dogon culture.
