KNEELING FIGURE - Female anthropomorphic figure in wood with fibers and fabric, kneeling on a small circular base, hands resting on the thighs. Pronounced facial features, almond-shaped eyes, and a slightly open mouth with visible teeth; incised geometric frieze at chest level. Conical headdress topped with a bundle of fibers, brown patina with wear on the prominences. Presents characteristics that may suggest productions from Central Africa, such as the kneeling posture, body incisions, and emphasis on dentition.
