STATUETTE - Standing anthropomorphic figure, in wood, with robust volume and prominent head, half-closed eyes and a crested hairstyle with lateral appendages. The torso displays necklaces and scarification motifs on the chest and abdomen; the hands rest on the ventral area, with vigorous legs and large feet with incised toes. Surface with dark patina, smoothed highlights on the edges and well-marked reliefs. It shows characteristics that may refer to Central African traditions, possibly related to Luba/Chokwe repertoires.
