Bidspirit auction | SCULPTURAL GROUP

SCULPTURAL GROUP - Figurative wooden sculpture, carved on a parallelepiped base. The figure has a frontal posture and stylized proportions, a prominent head with oblique eyes and marked teeth; at the top, a zoomorphic motif with open jaws and, on the shoulder, a small secondary figure. It holds an elongated element with geometric incisions in its hands. Dark patina with glossy areas and carving cracks; a piece that may refer to West African sculptural traditions due to the headdress and the presence of the companion.
