Bidspirit auction | FEMALE FIGURE

FEMALE FIGURE - Anthropomorphic female figure, made of various materials, with a vertical body and prominent breasts, with hanging arms and support on two feet. The stylized face, with a restrained expression, features sunken oval eyes and a closed mouth, highlighted by a high hairstyle with a crown of organic elements; shoulders and hips show braids that reinforce the volumes. Marked patina and surfaces with visible carving marks. A piece with characteristics that may refer to Central African productions, due to the cylindrical body, emphasis on the hairstyle, and use of bandages.
