MASK - Relief mask made of metal alloy, with an elongated oval face, half-closed eyes, and a narrow mouth. The surface exhibits regular punctations evoking scarifications and a segmented hairstyle with cord friezes and small buttons, topped by a suspension ring. Coppery-brown patina with greenish nuances, enhancing the nasal axis and the modeling of the eyelids. The formal language may approach productions from West Africa, possibly related to Akan/Baule contexts, due to the facial motifs and hair treatment.
