VINTAGE BESSARABIAN KILIM - With an original reference retail price of €2,900 from the prestigious importer Fırat Halı / Marionel, this Bessarabian-style kilim rug measures 303 x 208 cm (6.30 m²) and stands out for its flat weaving in pure wool (100% Wool) with an extraordinary technical density of approximately 150,000 stitches per square meter. The piece is characterized by an imposing naturalistic floral pattern composed of stylized central bouquets in old rose, dry olive green, and cream tones, which contrast sharply with the dark brown and black background of its rich geometric border. This artistic composition is complemented by the signature and historical date ”3-1-1960” woven in Cyrillic characters into the structure. The rug is in excellent general condition, showing only occasional small signs of wear perfectly natural and consistent with its age.
