Signed on justification page by Braque and Reverdy, the portfolio includes seven full-page lithographs in color including the outer cover by Braque, and many illustrations to accompany Pierre Reverdy text. Complete in the original publisher color cover and hard cloth slipcase. Provenance & note: From a Florida Modern art collection amassed beginning in the 1950s in Michigan. All proceeds from the sale of this item will go to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wis. Many of the important art pieces in the sale are from this same lifetime collection. This item can be shipped in-house. Condition: Slipcase has archival tape repairs on split joints, as well as spotting. Inside cover fine. Pages generally very fine, with some transfer and minor toning. Overall fine to very fine.
