On verso is label from Fairweather Garnett Gallery, Evanston, Illinois, that lists the artwork information with handwritten ”purchased August 1954.” Plaque measures 6-1/2” x 7” frame measures 10” x 13-3/4”. Provenance & note: From a Florida Modern art collection amassed beginning in the 1950s in Michigan. All proceeds from the sale of this item will go to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wis. Many of the important art pieces in the sale are from this same lifetime collection.
