ICHIJOKEN JOUN Bronze Koro - Meiji period, c. 1900, antique bronze incense burner signed Ichijoken Joun (Oshima Joun, 1858 - 1940). Overall dark brown patination, lid with a handle in the form of a dragon clutching a ball, the whole densely cast with archaistic motifs, dragons, clouds, and flowers, the four legs in the form of fiercely rendered dragons or fu lions. The underside appears to be signed Ichijoken Joun. Approx. 12” x 18”. This item will need to be shipped by a packing company of your choice.
