Signed Scrimshaw Tooth Polychrome Scene - Intricate Alaskan scene depicting a man standing with a husky and a dog sled, rays of the Northern Lights Aurora Borealis shining behind them. Hand colored. Artist signed ”LG” lower right. Mounted on wood stand. Approx. 4” x 8”. Provenance: Obtained in the 1980s from Lahaina Scrimshaw Factory, Lahaina, Hawaii. This item can be shipped in-house. Condition: Excellent condition with age related cracks on the tooth, none compromising the image. One on back filled. See images for details.
