Imperial German Pickelhaube Helmet - Pre-WWI leather M1915 Pickelhaube with metal spike and Prussian eagle front plate. Helmet is marked ”Maury & Co. Mainz” on the liner, with a size stamp of 56-1/2. Retains its original chinstrap and both cockades, though the leather strap shows wearand cracking. Spike is vented and affixed with six dome-head studs. Interior liner shows use but remains intact, with all tongues present. The rear visor is attached with a brass staple. Liner marked ”Laton” in ink. Dimensions: Approx. 9-1/2” frot to back, 6-1/2” wide, 8-1/4” tall including spike TAGS: M1895, Imperial German helmet, Prussian pickelhaube, spiked helmet, maurys mainz, antique military headgear.
