Gen. Yarborough: Gift from Chinese General 1970 - From the personal collection of Lt. Gen. William P. Yarborough. A boxed Chinese art book, with a presentation plate on the lid from General Yu Hao-Chang, Commander-in-Chief of the Republic of China (Taiwan) Army, August 1970. General Yu did a three-week tour of the U.S. and Japan in August of that year, while Yarborough served in Hawaii as the head of USARPAC. Box measures 12” x 16-7/8”. Provenance: Consigned by a long-time personal friend of General Yarborough, one who delivered a eulogy atthe general's funeral.
