U.S. Ceremonial Dress Sword Etched Blade - Etched blade measures approx. 30”, 35-1/2” overall. Ricasso is unmarked. Straight blade features patriotic motifs including a U.S. shield, crossed cannons, flags, eagle, and the letters ”U.S.” Brass guard shows an eagle in relief, with a detailedommel and wire-wrapped grip. Scabbard is steel with two suspension rings. No maker visible. Sword appears to be a late 19th or early 20th century ceremonial or fraternal type.
