WW2: German Army Officer's Saber Alcoso - WWII-era German Army officer's saber with straight, single-fuller blade measuring approx. 32-1/2”, 37” overall, and 3/4” wide. Ricasso is etched with the Alcoso Solingen scales logo. The hilt features a plain brass D-guard with wire-wrapped blackelluloid grip, pierced tang nut, and integral backstrap. Complete with original black-painted scabbard with one suspension ring. A representative example of the sabers worn by Wehrmacht officers during the Third Reich era, ca. 1938-1944.
