Illustrated by Sir Francis Cyril Rose with four original drawings and autographed by the artist. Numbered ”C” of ”A” through ”E”. Published by Harrison of Paris: Minton, Balach and Company, New York. Drawings are pencil with watercolor and gouache on paper, pasted onto the last pages of the book. Red leather covered boards and spine, spine with embossed title/date and board edges and interior leather edges with gilt, page edges gold gilt, original slipcover box. Overall approx. 7-3/4” x 10-3/4”. This item can be shipped in-house. Condition Excellent condition, beautiful clean copy. Some typical wear to slip cover including marks and edge wear. Book spine with typical sun fading, marks, and some hinge cracks to the exterior. Page edges with brilliant gilt, pages clean, four original artworks in excellent condition. See images.
