Giovan Battista Ruoppolo (Napoli, 1629 – 1693) - Cherries, lemons and fish on a plane. oil on canvas cm 72x96 within an important golden frame In the painting, the strong light-shadow contrast and the firm vision of the objects suggest a dating to the years 1660/1670, at the end of the painter's youthful career, still influenced by the naturalistic shots of Luca Forte and by the Caravaggio-esque suggestions of the Roman environment.
