Group of 2 Indentures - Group of 2 indentures. The first is an 1840 indenture between Richard Britton and Thomas Burt selling land in the county of Surrey. Has the wax seal and signature at the bottom and a one pound fifteen shilling stamp at the left with London stamped over and a cypher label on the back. The second is a 1795 indenture between James Norton, Dykes Alexander, Thomas Roper, Peter Bateman, George Norton and William Ashtin leasing William Land for one year. Has the seals and signatures at the bottom, a 1 shilling 6 pence stamp and a 1 shilling stamp on the left side and 2 cypher labels on the back. All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale.
