Robert Rauschenberg (1925–2008) was an influential American artist known for his revolutionary approach that blurred the boundaries between painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and performance. He is best known for his iconic ”Combines” series, which incorporated everyday objects and found materials into his artwork and served as a precursor to Pop art and Neo-Dadaism.
