One specimen is professionally graded by NGC as MS 70, Type 2, First Day of Issue (Serial No. 6306132-190). The remaining two coins feature the Type 1 heraldic eagle reverse. Designers: Adolph A. Weinman (obverse), John Mercanti (Type 1 reverse), and Emily Damstra (Type 2 reverse). The 2021 issue is significant for the mid-year transition between the original Type 1 and the updated Type 2 reverse designs.
