US 1923-1957 $1 Silver Certificates - This lot comprises one large-size Series 1923 Silver Certificate and a group of small-size Silver Certificates from Series 1934, 1935 E, 1957, 1957 A, and 1957 B. Friedberg #237, #1606, #1614, #1619, #1620, and #1621. Speelman/White, Julian/Morgenthau, Priest/Humphrey, Priest/Anderson, Smith/Dillon, and Granahan/Dillon. Large-size Washington / Cogwheel reverse; Small-size Washington / Great Seal reverse. Blue Treasury seals and serial numbers. The Series 1935 E group includes five notes with consecutive serial numbers J30088183I through J30088187I. Series 1957 and later issues feature the motto IN GOD WE TRUST on the reverse. Silver certificates were government-issued paper currency redeemable for silver dollar coins or bullion until the redemption period ended on June 24, 1968.All invoices must be paid within 24 hours of the sale.
