Beswick Appaloosa Stallion Gloss Ceramic Figurine Model 1772 - This is a glazed ceramic figurine of an Appaloosa stallion, manufactured by Beswick of England. Designated as model number 1772, the horse is modeled in a standing pose with a leopard spotted coat. The decoration features a white base with black spots and areas of soft brown and tan shading on the barrel and chest. The points, including the mane, tail, and lower legs, are finished in solid black, while the hooves are painted in a pale cream color. The piece is finished with a high-gloss glaze. On the underside of the belly is a circular vent hole used during the firing process. Surrounding this hole is a circular black printed backstamp. Transcription of mark: BESWICK ENGLAND.
