Persian Qajar Style Polychrome Glazed Ceramic Twin-Handled Vase - This twin-handled decorative vase is crafted from ceramic and features hand-painted underglaze decoration in a style attributed to the Persian Qajar period of the 19th or early 20th century. The vessel features a bulbous body tapering to a cylindrical neck with a flared rim, flanked by two small cobalt blue scroll-form handles. The decoration consists of two primary figurative panels set within lobed reserves. One panel depicts a seated figure in a teal-blue robe with a large blue turban, while the second panel shows a figure in a green robe with a blue headcovering. The surrounding ground is finished in a light green wash accented with simple black and blue floral and leaf sprays. A decorative band of diagonal cobalt blue and white stripes defines the shoulder. The neck is further decorated with stylized bird and foliage motifs against a light green ground. The base is flat and slightly recessed with a translucent glaze containing scattered blue specks, but it bears no legible maker marks, symbols, or inscriptions.
