Vintage GUB Glashuette 17 Rubis Gold-Plated Manual Wind Wristwatch - This vintage wristwatch is produced by GUB (VEB Glashütter Uhrenbetriebe) in Glashuette, East Germany. The timepiece features a circular gold-plated case with a silver-toned dial. The dial is decorated with applied gold-tone baton indices and radiating black lines extending from the center toward the markers. The hands are gold-tone batons. Dial markings include the GUB logo followed by GLASHUETTE/SA and 17 RUBIS below the 12 o'clock position. The term STOSSGESICHERT is printed above the 6 o'clock marker, and the bottom edge is marked GERMANY. The watch is fitted with a silver-toned crown and a black leather strap.
