Anglo-Indian Hand-Carved Hardwood Octagonal Side Table - An Anglo-Indian octagonal side or accent table dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, likely produced in the Kashmir or Hoshiarpur regions. The table is crafted from dark-stained hardwood, featuring a solid top with deep relief carving. The decorative program on the top includes a central floral medallion surrounded by scrolling foliate patterns, prominent grape leaves, and clusters of grapes. The outer edge is finished with a carved geometric border. The octagonal base is composed of eight panels with intricate pierced openwork, known as jali carving, repeating the grapevine and leaf motif. The base is of collapsible construction, characteristic of export furniture from the Raj period. No maker marks, stamps, or labels are visible.
