Two Chinese Yixing Zisha Stoneware Teapots - Two Chinese Yixing stoneware teapots crafted from reddish-brown unglazed zisha clay. The larger teapot features a globular body with a short tapered spout, a C-shaped handle, and a domed lid with a spherical finial. The exterior is densely incised with the text of the Heart Sutra (Prajnaparamita Hrdaya Sutra) in regular Chinese script. The lower section of the body is decorated with a molded relief band depicting Buddhist figures or Luohan amidst stylized clouds. The base features an impressed circular seal mark divided into quadrants containing archaic characters, including Zhou and Zhi. The second teapot is of compressed globular Xishi form with a short, stubby spout and a rounded handle. One side is decorated with large incised archaic style characters, while the reverse side features two columns of smaller characters in a fluid cursive script.
