Vintage Lovely Toys Local Shuttle Return Train Set in Original Box - This is a vintage mechanical tinplate shuttle train set manufactured by Lovely Toys of India. The set consists of a long rectangular tin base lithographed with colorful tracks and geometric patterns, two terminal station buildings, a crossing gate mechanism, and a single four-wheeled shuttle railcar. The lithographed decoration features vibrant colors with the word DELHI printed on both station roofs. The side panels of the left station platform are marked with the text LOVELY and PRESENTATION. The shuttle railcar is decorated with windows showing passengers and the text LOCAL and SHUTTLE on the sides. The set includes its original illustrated cardboard box titled LOCAL SHUTTLE RETURN TRAIN. The toy is designed to operate via a clockwork mechanism that allows the railcar to travel back and forth between the two station buffers.
