Betjemann Patent Oak and Cut Glass Three Bottle Tantalus - A late Victorian three bottle liquor tantalus manufactured by George Betjemann and Sons of London. The service features a quarter sawn oak frame with metal mounts and a central swinging handle attached to a locking top rail mechanism. The set includes three matching lead crystal decanters decorated with a diamond cut pattern and topped with faceted spherical glass stoppers. The metal side plate is stamped with a crown crest above the text Betjemann's Patent London and the serial number 4624. The base of the frame features decorative metal corner brackets and a small unmarked presentation plate.
