Israel 1948, a pair of envelopes from the day of the establishment of the State of Israel - 16.05.1948 in the State of Israel, 4 Iyar 5708, for the opening of the post office in Tel Aviv and the issuance of the first stamps of the State of Israel - Hebrew Post. The envelopes bear a Hebrew postage stamp of 3 mil and regular. The envelopes are illustrated and you can see Herzl and the text of the Balfour Declaration of 1917, and opposite them the United Nations General Assembly resolution of November 29, 1947 on the establishment of a Jewish state, one in English and one in Hebrew.
