Israel 1948, War of Independence, two envelopes sent in March and April 1948 from Haifa to Kfar Vitkin Youth Camp (Palmach Youth) by taxi mail (Egged Packages), the road between Haifa and Kfar Vitkin during this period was closed most of the time due to riots and attacks by Arabs on the road. Attached are also two letters in envelopes, both of which mention the attacks and the problem in sending the mail.
