It is possible that this was the first Jewish means of payment after thousands of years in Eretz Yisrael. Issued by the Mikweh Yisrael school (the first agricultural school and the first Hebrew settlement in Eretz Yisrael) for the use of its employees and students. Served the Holon area until it was banned by the Ottoman Empire, and not many have survived. One side: MIKWEH ISRAEL and the value (1).
