Incunabulum, two pages from the sefer Ralbag on Torah, First Edition, Mantua, prior to 1480. Among the first Jewish books ever printed!! Ralbag on the Pentateuch - two pages of incunabula rom one of the first Jewish books to be printed anywhere in the world. Printed by Abraham Conat, Mantua prior to 1480. Some believe the book was printed in Ferrara, where Avraham Conat's letters were transferred, circa 1477. 2 pgs; 20/30.5 cm. Tears with missing parts of the page, mainly in the margins. Stains, some severe, with damage to text. There is one page in which the margins are cut slightly into the text. Several tapings. general Condition: Fair. Abraham Conat's press was one of the first Jewish printing presses in history! He operated a short while after the printing press was invented. He was assisted by his wife, Estellina; Abraham Jedidiah HaEzrachi of Koln (perhaps he was his partner); and print arranger Yaakov ben Levi of Tarascon. In colophons, he referred to himself as ”he who writes with many pens without the help of miracles. He composed a prayer (see Hamadpis Conat Ve'otiyotav  by A.M. Haberman).  אינקונבולה, שני דפים מספר רלב”ג על התורה, 'מהדורה ראשונה', מנטובה, לפני ר”מ 1480. מהספרים היהודים הראשונים שנדפסו!! ספר רלב”ג עה”ת - שני דפי אינקונבולה מאחד הספרים היהודיים הראשונים שבאו בדפוס העברי בעולם. דפוס אברהם כונת, מנטובה לפני ר”מ 1480. אמנם יש המשערים כי הספר נדפס בפירארה, לשם הועברו אותיותיו של אברהם כונת, שנת רל”ז לערך. 2 דף; 20/30.5 ס”מ. קרעים עם חסר בעיקר בשוליים. כתמים וחלקם קשים עם פגיעות בטקסט. באחד מהדפים השוליים חתוכים מעט על הטקסט. מספר הדבקות. באופן כללי מצב בינוני. דפוס אברהם כּוֹנָת הינו אחד מבתי הדפוס היהודיים הראשונים בהיסטוריה! הוא פעל תקופה קצרה לאחר המצאת הדפוס, וסייעו לו אשתו אֶשְׂטֶלינה, אברהם ידידיה האזרחי מקולוניא (אולי היה שותפו), וסדר הדפוס יעקב בן לוי מטָרַסקון. כינה את עצמו בקולופונים בכינוי: ”הכותב בכמה קולמוסים בלא מעשה נסים”. חיבר תפילה(ראה 'המדפיס כונת ואותיותיו' א.מ. הברמן).
