”... which is a potent segulah  for livelihood and success.” First edition. Ohr Lashamayim , Lvov 1850. First printing of the well-known prayer by Harav Meir Halevi of Apta, which his disciple, the Tiferes Shlomo, used to recite daily, explaining that it was a powerful segulah . Ohr Lashamayim  is a sefer  on the parashiyos  of the Torah with an anthology of essays b'derech Kabbalah  and Chassidus   by Harav Meir Halevi of Apta. At the beginning of the book, the well-known prayer by Harav Meir Halevi of Apta appears in print for the first time. The prayer opens with the words: ” Ribon Ha'olamim yadati ki hineni beyadcha k'chomer beyad hayotzer ...” It is brought down in sefarim  that his disciple, the Tiferes Shlomo, used to recite every night and every morning, explaining that it ”is a powerful segulah  for parnassah  and hatzlachah  to recite it every day.” Printed at the end of the book is the approbation of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz. The book was authored by Harav Meir of Apta and published by his grandson, Harav Yaakov Yosef and the latter's father (the author's son-in-law) Harav Menachem Mendel Rubin of Glogov, a descendant of Harav Naftoli of Ropshitz. ”... when the words left his holy mouth, physical reality seemed to disapear and the Shechinah spoke from his throat” - quoted from the approbation of the author's son-in-law, Harav Menachem Mendel Rubin of Glogov. ” Ulechol b”Y [bnei Yisrael] hama'aminim hi segulah nifla'ah lehatzlachah uvrachah ushemirah mikol davar ” - excerpted from inside the titlepage border. We know of three variants of this book, and this is one is the rarest of all ! It is not listed and many people are unaware of its existence. The last page features Rashi print, and added at the bottom of the page are the words: Lemberg, gedrukt bei dfus Franz Galinsky, 1851.” Bound along with it is a Haggadah shel Pesach with Ivri - teitch and a commentary by the Dubno Maggid. Warsaw 1872. Incomplete, damaged copy. Simple binding. Stains. Tear and a taping on the margins of the title page. On pgs 59-60 there are tapings on the upper part of the page, with damage to several lines. The margins on the last page are cut. A few solitary worming holes; they appear to be only in the margins. Condition: Good. The Rebbe Harav Meir Halevi Rotenberg of Apta  [circa 1760-1829] was one of the great Chassidic tzaddikim. He was a disciple of the Chozeh of Lublin. When the Ohev Yisrael of Apta moved to Mezhibuzh, Harav Meir succeeded him as Rav of Apta. Many people flocked to his door, including great tzaddikim such as   the Divrei Chaim of Sanz, the Tiferes Shlomo of Radomsk and more.  'שהיא סגולה נוראה לפרנסה ולהצלחה'. מהדורה ראשונה. 'אור לשמים' לבוב תר”י. ההדפסה הראשונה של התפילה הידועה מהמחבר הרה”ק רבי מאיר הלוי מאפטא, שתלמידו הרה”ק ה'תפארת שלמה' נהג לאומרה כל יום, באמרו כי היא סגולה נוראה ספר 'אור לשמים' על הפרשיות התורה, וליקוטי מאמרים בדרך הקבלה והחסידות, מהרה”ק רבי מאיר הלוי מאפטא. בתחילת הספר נדפסה לראשונה תפילתו הידועה של המחבר הרה”ק רבי מאיר מאפטא, הפותחת במילים: 'רבון העולמים ידעתי כי הנני בידך כחומר ביד היוצר....'. מובא בספרים כי תלמידו הרה”ק בעל ה'תפארת שלמה' מראדומסק הי' רגיל לאומרה בכל יום ערב ובוקר, ואמר ”שהיא סגולה נוראה לפרנסה ולהצלחה לאומרה בכל יום”. בסוף הספר נדפסה הסכמתו של הרה”ק מרן ה'דברי חיים' מצאנז. הספר נכתב על ידי המחבר הרה”ק רבי מאיר מאפטא, ויצא לאור על ידי נכדו הרה”ק רבי יעקב יוסף ואביו (חתן המחבר) הרה”ק רבי מנחם מנדל רובין מגלאגוב נכדו של הרה”ק רבי נפתלי מרופשיץ. ”שבעת שיצאו הדברים מפי הקדוש, כמעט נתבטל מציאות הגשמיות ושכינה מדברת מתוך גרונו” - מתוך הסכמת חתן המחבר הרה”ק רבי מנחם מענדל מגלאגוב. 'ולכל ב”י [=בני ישראל] המאמינים היא סגולה נפלאה להצלחה וברכה ושמירה מכל דבר' - מתוך מסגרת השער. דפוס ראשון. למברג, תר”י 1850. בעמ' אחרון: 1851. [1] עד, עז-ע”ח, ע”ז - פ”א דף; 24 ס”מ. בספריה הלאומית יש סריקה של שני עותקים שונים. ראה סטפנסקי חסידות מס' 31. לספה”ק שלפנינו ידועים שלושה וריאנטים, ולפנינו הוריאנט הנדיר! אשר פחות ידוע, ולא נרשם, ורבים לא ידעו על קיומו. הדף האחרון נדפס באותיות רש”י, ונוספו בתחתית הדף: ”לעמבערג, גדרוקט בייא דפוס פראנץ גאלינסקי, 1851”. כרוך עמו הגדה של פסח עם עברי טייטש ופירוש מהמגיד מדובנא. ווארשא תרל”ג 1872. עותק חסר ופגוע. כריכה פשוטה. כתמים. קרע והדבקה בשולי השער. בדפים נט-ס' הדבקות בחלק העליון של הדף עם פגיעה במספר שורות. בדף אחרון השוליים קצוצים. מספר נקבי עש בודדים, נראה כי ישנם רק בשוליים. מצב טוב. האדמו”ר הרה”ק רבי מאיר הלוי רוטנברג מאפטא [תק”כ - תקפ”ט לערך] מגדולי צדיקי החסידות. תלמיד הרה”ק החוזה מלובלין. לאחר שהרה”ק ה'אוהב ישראל' מאפטא עבר למעז'יבוז', מילא את מקומו כרבה של אפטא. רבים הסתופפו בצילו ובהם צדיקי החסידות הרה”ק ה'דברי חיים' מצאנז, הרה”ק ה'תפארת שלמה' מרדומסק ועוד.
