Tears and wear in the margins and the corners, some with damage to text and missing text. Fold line. Condition: Fair - Good. Harav Nachum of Shadik [1811- circa 1866, approximately] was the son of Harav Avraham Lowy-Weisfish. A disciple of the Chemdas Shlomo, he received semichah  from him. He served as Rav of Shadik (Szadek), in Poland, and moved to Eretz Yisrael circa 1845 along with two of his brothers: Harav Asher Lemel and Harav Yaakov Yehuda Leib. He settled in Jerusalem and gained renown as a holy ascetic. He immersed himself in the study of both the revealed and hidden Torah, fasting frequently and wrapped in his tallis  and tefillin . His son was Harav David Baharan. Segulah for blessing and protection. The sefer Ish Elokim Kadosh  relates that Harav Sholom Schwadron said in the name of the elderly Jews of Yerushalayim that it is a segulah  to keep in one's home the sefer Avnei Kodesh , which Harav Nachum wrote with toil and exertion amid holiness and purity, for protection and blessing. (See Pg 237, regarding the Beis Yisrael of Gur's advice to someone close to him to involve himself in the printing of Harav Nachum's sefarim .)  סגולה לשמירה וברכה. חידושי הגאון הקדוש רבי נחום משאדיק בכתב יד קדשו. דף מחיבורו 'אבני קודש' חידושים על מסכת בבא מציעא פרק שניים אוחזים. חדושים בכי”ק של הגאון הקדוש רבי נחום משאדיק. דף מספרו 'אבני קודש' חידושים על מסכת ב”מ פרק שניים אוחזים. שני עמודים מלאים בכתי”ק(דף משני הצדדים). 19/21.5 ס”מ. מספר כתמים. קרעים ובלאי בשוליים והקצוות ובחלקם פגיעות וחסר בטקסט. סימן קיפול. מצב בינוני - טוב. הגאון הקדוש רבי נחום משאדיק [תקע”א - תרכ”ו בערך] בן הגאון רבי אברהם לעווי-ווייספיש. תלמיד הגאון בעל ה'חמדת שלמה' ונסמך על ידו. כיהן כרבה של שאדיק בפולין. עלה לארץ הקודש בשנת תר”ה לערך, עם שניים מאחיו הגאונים רבי אשר לעמיל ורבי יעקב יהודה לייב. נתיישב בירושלים ונודע כקדוש ופרוש. עסק בתורה בנגלה ונסתר כשהוא מרבה בצומות וכשהוא עטוף בטלית ותפילין. בנו הוא הגאון רבי דוד בהר”ן. סגולה לשמירה וברכה. בספר 'איש אלקים קדוש' מובא כי הגה”צ רבי שלום שבדרון אמר כי מקובל בפי זקני ירושלים כי הספר הקדוש 'אבני קודש' שאותו כתב רבינו בעמל וביגיעה מתוך קדושה וטהרה, הספר כשלעצמו הוא סגולה ואבן טובה להחזיקו בבית לשמירה וברכה(וראה שם בעמ' רלז, מה שייעץ הרה”ק ה'בית ישראל מגור למקורבו להתעסק בעול הדפסת ספרי רבינו).
