Complete topic. 4 leaves, 6 handwritten pages.   11/17.5 cm. The pages are not bound. Binding holes on the inner margins. Stains, mostly foxing and ink stains. Taping on the inner margins of one page. Tears in the margins. Condition: Good. Harav Yosef Zundel Salant  [1786-1865] was a disciple of Harav Chaim of Volozhin and Harav Akiva Eiger. He was the rebbi  of the founder of the mussar  movement, Harav Yisrael Salanter. Harav Yosef Zundel was dubbed ” Peh Shelishi LaGra ” (The Third Mouth of the Vilna Gaon) because he was an outstanding disciple of Harav Chaim of Volozhin, receiving from him many traditions from the Vilna Gaon. He attained mastery over all of the revealed and hidden Torah, yet was always modest and unassuming. He possessed sterling middos  and many Torah giants wrote about his greatness and righteousness. He served as Rav of the Ashekenazi community in Jerusalem. He passed away in 1865 and was buried on Har Hazeisim in Jerusalem. After his passing, his son-in-law Harav Shmuel Salant served as Rav of the Ashkenazi community. הנהגות הגאון מווילנא ותלמידו הגדול רבי חיים מוואלוז'ין בסדר השנה, כתב-יד 'פה שלישי לגר”א' הגאון רבי זונדל מסלאנט. 4 דפים בכי”ק. הנהגות הגאון מווילנא ותלמידו הגאון רבי חיים מוולוז'ין. כתב יד הגאון רבי יוסף זונדל מסלנט. עניינים רבים בנושאים שונים, בהם: שבת קודש - חרוסת והגדה לפסח - פרשת זכור - ”שמעתי ממנו על הגמרא ...” - ”בקדושה לומר קדוש ..” - תחנון - יארצייט - תקיעות - סוכות - הושענא רבא ושמ”ע - ר”ח - חנוכה ועוד. 4 דפים, 6 עמודים כתובים בכתי”ק. 11/17.5 ס”מ. הדפים לא כרוכים. בשוליים הפנימיים חורי כריכה. כתמים בעיקר כתמי זמן ודיו. הדבקה בשוליים הפנימיים של אחד הדפים. קרעים בשוליים. מצב טוב. הגאון הצדיק רבי יוסף זונדל סלאנט [תקמ”ו – תרכ”ו 1786/1865] תלמידם של הגאונים רבי חיים מוואלאזין ורבי עקיבא אייגר, ורבו של מייסד תנועת המוסר רבי ישראל מסלאנט. הגרי”ז סלנט כונה 'פה שלישי לגר”א' מכיוון שהיה תלמידו המובהק של הגר”ח מוולוז'ין וקיבל ממנו מסורות רבות מרבו הגאון מווילנא. היה גאון בנגלה ונסתר, ענוותן ובעל מידות נעלות, וגדולי ישראל כתבו על גדלותו וצדקותו. כיהן כרבה של העדה האשכנזית בירושלים. נפטר בשנת תרכ”ו ונקבר בהר הזיתים שבירושלים. לאחר פטירתו כיהן חתנו רבי שמואל סלאנט כרבה של העדה האשכנזית בירושלים.
