Antique Torah finial ( rimmon ), tall silver rimmon . Holland? North African in Dutch style? 19th century? A single Torah finial, tall, impressive, massive and heavy, made of silver. Filigree style, though apparently produced by casting. Holland or North Africa in Dutch style. Probably 19th century. The rimmon has undergone heavy cleaning, yet still retains a distinctly antique appearance. We did not find any hallmarks (possibly faded during cleaning). Acid-tested in two areas (handle and body) and confirmed to be high-grade silver (800 or higher). Weight: 815 grams. Height: approximately 41 cm. The finial is shaped like a tower with two tiers, each with six windows containing hanging bells, surmounted by diamond-shaped motifs. Balcony-like elements separate the first tier from the second, and the second from the crown. The tower is hexagonal in structure, topped with a crown and set on a cylindrical base. Decorated with filigree and other ornamental details. One bell is detached but present. Minor defects. Overall Condition: Good. רימון(בודד) עתיק לספר תורה, רימון גבוה עשוי כסף. הולנד? צפון אפריקה בסגנון הולנדי? המאה ה - 19? רימון בודד לספר תורה, גבוה - מרשים - מאסיבי וכבד, עשוי כסף, בעבודת פיליגרן אולם נראה שנעשה ביציקה. הולנד או צפון אפריקה בסגנון הולנדי. כנראה המאה ה - 19. הרימון עבר ניקוי חזק ולמרות זאת נראה מאוד עתיק. לא מצאנו חותמות(ייתכן שדהו בניקוי), נבדק בחומצה ב - 2 מקומות (בידית ובגוף הרימון) והינו עשוי כסף גבוה (800 ומעלה). משקל 815 גרם. גובה 41 ס”מ בקירוב. רימון מגדל, בשני קומות ישנם בכל אחת שש חלונות בהם תלויים פעמונים ומעליהם צורת מעוין. ישנם כעין מרפסות המפרידות בין קומה ראשונה לשנייה ובין השנייה לכתר, מבנה המגדל בצורת משושה. בראשו כתר. רגל גלילית. עיטורי פיליגרן ועיטורים נוספים. אחד הפעמונים מנותק, אך קיים. פגמים קלים. מצב טוב.
