Exceptionally Rare! Variant Edition. Tiferes Yehonasan – Chiddushim of the Harav Yonasan Eibeschutz on Torah. First Printing. Sudilkov (Sudylkow), circa 1820. Fine copy, wide margins. Sefer Tiferes Yehonasan – chiddushim of Harav Yonasan Eibeschutz on Torah. “A wondrous and most marvelous commentary on the Torah, composed by our master and teacher, the great eagle, the renowned gaon of worldwide fame, Rabban shel kol bnei hagolah , the G-dly Kabbalist... Harav Yonasan Eibeschutz.” An exceptionally rare work. This is the first edition of the sefer , based on the author's manuscript that was in his grandson's possession. It contains sermons delivered by Harav Yonasan during his tenure in Hamburg. Harav Uri,   dayan in Dresden, transcribed and published this work, as he did Bnei Ahuvah , another of Harav Yonason Eibschutz's works . This is an exceedingly rare copy! It has not appeared in auction sales, is absent from the online Otzar HaSeforim databases, and appears not to be held in the National Library of Israel. Variant: On the title page, following the name of the publisher— “Brought to  print by the distinguished Rav, Harav Ephraim Zalman Shor”— two additional lines appear: “Grandson of the great Rav… Rabbi Menachem Mendel Zalkwier, maggid meisharim and moreh tzedek of the holy community of Brod… son of the tzaddik... Harav Ephraim Zalman Lukbier... of the holy community of Zolkiew.” Only the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book (Yudelov) records that the copy in Jews’ College, London, contains this addition. Printed without place or year on the title page, as was common in the Russia–Poland region at the time. The Bibliography of the Hebrew Book (Yudelov) records Sudylkow, circa 1820; Friedberg records Ostroh, 1825. [1], 117 leaves; 24 cm. Antique half-leather binding, worn. Stains, creases, and very few tears. Wide margins. Minimal worming visible at the edges. Overall Condition: Good to Very Good. נדיר במיוחד! וריאנט. 'תפארת יהונתן' חידושי הגאון הרבי רבי יהונתן אייבשיץ עה”ת. דפוס ראשון. סדילקוב, תק”פ 1820 לערך. עותק נאה, שוליים רחבים ספר 'תפארת יהונתן' חידושי הגאון האדיר הרבי רבי יהונתן אייבשיץ על התורה. ”והוא חיבור נפלא הפלא ופלא על התורה, שחיבר ה”ה הרב אדונינו מורינו ורבינו, הנשר הגדול הגאון המפורסם בכל קצוי תבל, רבן של כל בני הגולה, המקובל האלקי מוה' יהונתן אייבשיץ”. ספר נדיר במיוחד ואינו מצוי. מהדורה ראשונה של הספר מעצם כתב יד קדשו של המחבר שהיה אצל נכדו. מכיל את דרשותיו שדרש רבינו מדי שבת בשבתו בהיותו בק”ק המבורג. רבי אורי מו”ץ בק”ק דרזדן, העתיק והדפיס את הספר, כמו שהדפיס את הספר 'בני אהובה' לרבינו הגאון הרבי רבי יהונתן אייבשיץ. לפנינו עותק נדיר במיוחד! לא הופיע במכירות פומביות ולא נמצא באוצר הספרים המקוונים, וכן נראה כי אינו בספריה הלאומית. ווריאנט. בדף השער אחרי שמו של המביא לדפוס ”הובא לבית הדפוס ע”י הרבני המופלג מוה' אפרים זלמן שור”, נוספו אחרי שמו שתי שורות: ”נכד הרב הגדול.. מהו' מנחם מענדל זאלקוויר מ”מ ומ”צ דק”ק בראד... בן לאותו צדיק הרב המובהק החסיד המפורסם מוה' אפרים זלמן לוקביר מ”מ ומ”צ דק”ק זאלקווי”. רק במפעל הביבליוגרפיה(יודלוב), מוזכר כי בטופס שבספריית ג'וז קוליג' בלונדון יש את ההוספה שלפנינו. נדפס ללא פרטי ההדפסה על גבי השער(מקום ושנה), כמו רבים מהספרים אשר נדפסו באותה תקופה בסביבות רוסיא-פולין. במפעל הביבליוגרפיה(יודלוב) נרשם סדילקוב תק”ף 1820 בערך, פרידברג רשם אוסטרהא תקפ”ה. [1] קיז דף; 24 ס”מ. כריכה חצי עור עתיקה פגועה. כתמים וקמטים ומעט מאוד קרעים. שוליים רחבים. מעט מאוד נקבי עש, נראים בשוליים. מצב טוב - טוב מאוד.
