Manuscript on Vellum – Prayers for the Chazzan - Shul Gabbai, including Yizkor for the great rabbanim of France and the communities of Europe, and a prayer for the welfare of the monarchy. Ashkenaz, 19th century. Ownership inscription of  the community of Blotzheim (Alsace), 1897. Large book, manuscript on vellum, containing prayers for the cantor–gabbai of the synagogue. The manuscript contains the piyyut Lechah Dodi - Mizmor Shir LeYom HaShabbos  and the perek   of Tehillim Hashem Malach Ge’us Lavesh -  the blessings of Hagomel and Baruch Shep’tarani (for a father whose son reached bar mitzvah) - Mi Sheberach for the ill, for weekdays and Shabbos - Mi Sheberach for charitable donations -  blessings for the haftarah for Shabbos, Yom Tov, and the Yamim Noraim - Birkas Hachodesh - Av Harachamim - memorial prayers (Yizkor). The Yizkor section has prayers for (among others): the couple who purchased the cemetery in Magentz (Mainz?); those who abolished the customs tax in Koblenz; the great sages of Ashkenaz—Rabbeinu Gershom Me’or HaGolah, Rabbeinu Tam, Rabbi Shimon HaGadol, Rabbeinu Chananel, Rashi, Rashbam, Rivash, Rabbi Meir ben Baruch (the Maharam of Rothenburg), Rabbi Peretz (of the Ba’alei Tosafos?), Rabbi Yaakov ben Rabbi Moshe HaLevi, Rabbi Yisrael bar Pesachyah; and the pure and holy martyr Rabbi Naftali (“Hertzel”) ben Yitzchak HaLevi from the village of Wetzlar, who gave up his life al kiddush Hashem . It further includes Yizkor for the kedoshim  of the communities of Speyer, Worms, Mainz, Frankfurt, and most of the Ashkenazic communities (divided into several separate Yizkor sections), followed by a separate Yizkor for the kedoshim  of the regions of Swabia, Bavaria, Carinthia... it goes on to enumerate almost every country in Europe, including England, Russia, and Poland. Afterward there is an additional Yizkor for all communities and settlements, and for those who exerted themselves on behalf of their communities by annulling decrees and taxes, building synagogues, and the like. On the final written leaf is a prayer for the welfare of the monarchy, with a blank space left for the names of the rulers (never filled in). Large book: 33 cm. 11 leaves of prepared vellum, 14 sides of which contain writing. Each written page is framed in red ink. Most titles and opening words in the first pages are in red ink, including the first letter of each stanza of Lechah Dodi . Portions of the haftarah blessings and the Mi Sheberach are likewise in red ink. The inner binding bears a handwritten ownership inscription: Community of Blotzheim, 1897. The final vellum leaf and the endpapers feature inscriptions in a foreign language. Antique binding, worn. Stains and creases. Several tears and isolated adhesive repairs. Some light damage to the text. Overall Condition: Good. כתב יד על קלף, תפילות לחזן - גבאי בית הכנסת, עם יזכור לגדולי רבני צרפת וקהילות אירופה, ותפילה לשלום המלכות. אשכנז המאה ה - 19. רישום בעלות ק”ק בלאצהיים(עלזס) 1897. ספר גדול, כתב יד על קלף(משוח) תפילות לחזן - גבאי בית הכנסת, בכתב היד פיוט לכה דודי - מזמור שיר ליום השבת ופרק התהלים ה' מלך גאות לבש - ברכות הגומל וברכת ברוך שפטרני למי שבנו הגיע לבר מצוה - מי שברך לחולה לחול ושבת - מי שברך למתנת יד(צדקה) - ברכות הפטרה לשבת, חגים וימים נוראים - ברכת החודש - תפילת אב הרחמים - אזכרת נשמות, בהזכרת הנשמות תפילות יזכור גם לזוג שקנה את בית הקברות במגענץ(מיינץ?), אלו שביטלו את המכס בקאבלענץ, גדולי אשכנז רבינו גרשום מאור הגולה, רבינו תם, רבי שמעון הגדול, רבינו חננאל, רש”י, רשב”ם, ריב”ש, רבי מאיר בר ברוך(מהר”ם מרוטנבורג - רבי פרץ(מבעלי התוספות?), רבי יעקב בן רבי משה הלוי, רבי ישראל בר פתחיה - הקדוש והטהור רבי נפתלי המכונה הירצל בר יצחק הלוי מכפר וועטלסה שמסר נפשו על קידוש השם. וכן יזכור להרוגי ושרופי קהילות שפייאר, ווירמיישא, מענץ, פרנקפורט ורוב קהילות אשכנז(מחולק לכמה קטעי יזכור נפרדים) ובסופם יזכור נפרד להרוגי ושרופי מדינות שוואבן, פייערן, קערינטן והולך ומונה את כמעט כל מדינות אירופה כולל אנגליה - רוסיה - פולין וכו', אחרי זה יזכור נפרד לכל הקהילות והישובים - לכל אלו שטרחו בעד הקהילות ובטלו גזירות ומוכסים ובנו בתי כנסיות וכו'. בעמוד אחרון מהדפים הכתובים, תפילה לשלום המלכות עם מקום ריק לכתוב את שמות המושלים, כמובן שלא מילאו את שם המושל. ספר גדול 33 ס”מ, 11 דפי קלף משוח, מתוכם כתובים 14 עמודים. מסגרת בצבע אדום לכל עמוד כתוב, רוב הכותרות ומילים ראשונות בדפים ראשונים בדיו אדום כולל אות ראשונה בכל קטע של הפיוט לכה דודי, חלק מברכות ההפטרה והמי שברך גם הם בדיו אדום. בכריכה הפנימית רישום בכ”י ק”ק בלאצהיים 1897. בעמוד אחרון של הקלף ובדפי הפורזץ רישומים בלועזית. כריכה עתיקה בלויה. כתמים וקמטים. מספר קרעים והדבקות בודדות. מספר פגיעות קלות בטקסט. באופן כללי מצב טוב.
