Zhitomir, printed by Harav Chanina Lipa and Harav Yehoshua Heschel Shapira, grandsons of the Rebbe of Slavita and Harav Pinchas of Koritz. Approbation by the Rebbe of Chernobyl, son of the Maggid of Chernobyl. ”... yekar tiferes defus mechutanai hayekarim...  their goal is to eliminate printing errors.” Three complete and well-preserved volumes . Zhitomir, 1863. Volume I: 4, 251 [should be 250]; 16 [should be 17] pgs. Volume II: [1] 280 pgs. Volume III: 115; [1] 117–309, 11 pages. 20.5 cm. Four title pages , three of them with some red ink lettering. Pg 136 has an antique handwritten correction. Antique bindings, slightly worn. Stains, mostly minor. Small adhesive repair on the margins of one leaf. On page 233 of Volume II, there is a small peel with slight damage to the text. Very few wormholes and tears, visible only in the margins in a few places. Condition: Good - Very Good. סט ספר הזוהר הקדוש, זיטאמיר, בדפוס הרבנים שפירא. הסכמת הרה”ק מטשערנאביל. תרכ”ג 1863. ספר הזהר על התורה מהתנא האלוקי רבי שמעון בן יוחאי, הרשב”י זיע”א. זיטומיר, בדפוס רבי חנינא ליפא ורבי יהושע העשיל שפירא נכדי הרה”ק מסלאוויטא והרה”ק רבי פנחס מקוריץ. הסכמת הרה”ק רבי אהרן מטשרנאביל, בן הרה”ק המגיד מטשרנוביל, ”יקר תפארת דפוס מחותניי היקרים הבש”ק שי' ... וגם מגמתם להסיר סיגי טעיות הדפוס”. שלושה כרכים שלמים ושמורים. זיטומיר, תרכ”ג 1863. כ”א: 4, רנ”א[צ”ל ר”נ], ט”ז[צ”ל י”ז] דף; כ”ב: [1] רפ דף; כ”ג: קטו; [1] קיז-שט, יא דף; 20.5 ס”מ. ארבעה שערים, בשלושה מהם מעט מאותיות השער בדיו אדום. בדף קלו תיקון עתיק בכת”י. כריכות עתיקות מעט בלויות. כתמים ברובם קלים. הדבקה קטנה בשולי אחד הדפים. בדף רל”ג בח”ב ישנו קילוף קטן עם פגיעה קלה בטקסט. מעט מאוד נקבי עש וקרעים, נראים בשוליים במעט מקומות. מצב טוב - טוב מאוד. לספרי זיטאמיר וסלאוויטא שנדפסו ע”י צאצאי הרה”ק רבי פנחס מקוריץ, הייתה קדושה מיוחדת, כלי הדפוס והאותיות הוטבלו במקווה לפני המלאכה, ואף החזקת ספרים קדושים אלו ידועה כסגולה לשמירת הבית ולהצלחה.
