Siddur HaShelah, first printing, copy of Harav Yitzchak Dov HaLevi Bamberger of Wurzburg. Amsterdam 1717. Incomplete copy. Siddur Sha'ar HaShamayim prayers and supplications, halachos, minhagim and hanhagos b'derech HaPardes , by the Shelah Hakadosh, Harav Yeshayah HaLevi Horowitz. The Shelah compiled this siddur upon his arrival in Eretz Yisrael. This is the only work he asked his sons to print after his passing. In his will, he writes, ”The reason I composed this holy work is so that it would be printed and disseminated among Jewish communities, and I would have a portion and a zechus in all Jewish prayers.” Many tzaddikim throughout the generations preferred to daven from this siddur. The Bach, in his approbation appearing in this copy, wrote, ”Whoever davens in this siddur, his prayer does not go unanswered.” The approbations are missing. Inside the binding is an inscription: “Property of Amo”r (my master, my father, my teacher and rebbi ) the Gaavad... Moreinu Harav Reb Yitzchak Dov HaLevi  ner”u  Bamberger” The book contains several early handwritten inscriptions. First and very important edition . Amsterdam, 1717. Originally: 5, 4-335, 139, 130, 1, 52 pgs;  pages; this copy is incomplete! In the first count, the following are missing: the first 5 pages (titles and approbations), pgs 42-43, 46-47. In the second count, the following pages are missing: 22-23; in the ma’amados (ceremonial sections), pages 46-47; and the last page, pg 52.  In total, 14 pages out of the siddur's 659 pages are missing. 21 cm. Two title pages: one for Tehillim and one for ma’amados . Wooden binding covered in leather. The binding is detached and split into two parts. It is damaged and retains some remnants of the clasp. The first page (4) and several of the last pages are detached. Pasted to the first page is a reduced-size reproduction of the illustrated title page, and pg 52 is pasted as a reproduction on plain paper. Adhesive repairs in multiple places, some in the margins and some with damage to the text. In a number of places, there are handwritten completions on the pasted additions. Stains. A few tears and some worming damage. Overall Condition: Fair - Good. סידור השל”ה הק' דפוס ראשון העותק של הגאון רבי יצחק דוב הלוי במברגר מוירצבורג. אמשטרדם תע”ז 1717. עותק חסר. סידור 'שער השמים' תפילות ותחינות, הלכות, מנהגים והנהגות בדרך הפרד”ס, מאת רבינו השל”ה הקדוש, הרה”ק רבי ישעיה הלוי הורוויץ. את סידור זה חיבר השל”ה בעת בואו לארץ הקודש וזהו חיבורו היחיד שביקש מבניו שידפיסוהו לאחר פטירתו. בצוואתו כתב ”....עלה במחשבתי לחבר חיבור הקודש הזה כדי שיהיה נדפס שיתפשט בתפוצות ישראל כדי שיהיה לי חלק וזכות בכל תפלות ישראל”. רבים מצדיקי הדורות חפצו לקבוע תפילתם מתוך סידור קדוש זה, ורבינו הב”ח בהסכמתו כתב ”כל מי שמתפלל בתוכו שאין תפלתו חוזרת ריקם”. ההסכמות חסרות. בכריכה הפנימית רישום: ”שייך לאאמו”ר(לאדוני אבי מורי ורבי) הגאב”ד כש”ת מהור”ר יצחק דוב הלוי נר”ו באמבערגער”. בספר מספר רישומים עתיקים בכתב יד. דפוס ראשון וחשוב ביותר. אמשטרדם תע”ז 1717. במקור: 5, ד' - של”ה, קל”ט, ק”ל, 1, נ”ב דף; העותק שלנו חסר!! בספירה ראשונה חסרים: 5 דפים ראשונים(שערים והסכמות), דפים מ”ב - מ”ג, מ”ו - מ”ז. בספירה השנייה חסרים דפים: כ”ב - כ”ג, במעמדות חסרים דפים: מ”ו - מ”ז, ודף אחרון דף נ”ב. סה”כ חסרים 14 דפים מתוך 659 דפי הסידור. 21 ס”מ. שני שערים, האחד לתהלים והשני למעמדות. כריכת עץ מחופה עור, הכריכה מנותקת לשניים ופגועה ועם מעט שאריות אבזם. דף ראשון(ד') ומספר דפים אחרונים מנותקים. לדף הראשון מודבק צילום מוקטן של דף השער המצויר, וכן דף נ”ב מודבק בצילום על נייר רגיל. הדבקות במספר מקומות, חלקם בשוליים וישנם עם פגיעות בטקסט, במספר מקומות יש השלמה בכתב יד על ההדבקה. כתמים. מעט קרעים ונזקי עש. באופן כללי מצב בינוני - טוב.
