Shivisi, a particularly impressive and rare artist’s work. Afghanistan, 1958.  Large and impressive Shivisi plaque, featuring a candelabra with the psalm of Lamenatzeiach and various pesukim . Unique and artistic handiwork with a grapevine border, multiple colors and an additional colored border. The plaque features various colors and bears traces of a sort of silvery powder. Some of the sections were executed on different paper and mounted (originally) on the main sheet. Truly unique and rare handiwork! Handsome scribal writing . Afghanistan, 1958. The following inscription appears around the candelabra: ”The young and small ( hatza'ir vehaza'ir ) scribe, Yitzchak Cohen, son of the... Dayan … son of Harav Hadayan... David... son of Avraham, may his soul be bound in the bond of life. This candelabra was written and signed on Thursday, the eighteenth of Tishrei, Year 5719 from the Creation of the World.” Set in a frame with glass. Dimensions including frame: approximately 42/52 cm (the frame is about 2 cm on each side). The ink is fading in some spots. A few tears and age stains. The frame is damaged. Overall Condition: Fair -Good. See a work created by the same artist on the same day at Winner’s, Sale 136, Lot 305. שויתי, עבודת אמן מיוחדת, מרשימה ונדירה במיוחד. אפגניסטן, תשי”ט 1958 לוח 'שיויתי' גדול ומרשים, עם מנורת מזמור 'למנצח' ופסוקים שונים. עשויה בעבודת יד אמנותית ומיוחדת, עם מסגרת זמורות ענבים ומסגרת צבעונית נוספת, הלוח בצבעים שונים ועם שאריות מעין אבקת כסף. מספר קטעים נעשו בנייר אחר, והודבקו במקור על גבי הגיליון הגדול. עבודה ייחודית ונדירה ביותר! כתיבת סופר נאה. אפגניסטן, תשי”ט. מסביב למנורה מופיע הכיתוב: ”הכותב הצעיר וזעיר יצחק כהן בן הכ' הדיין ...... בן המרוחם הרב הדיין החכם והשלם הנאמן דוד נ”ע בן המ' מ' אברהם תנצב”ה. נכתבה ונחתמה המנורה הזאת ביום חמישי בשבת, שמונה עשר לחודש תשרי, שנת חמשת אלפים ושבע מאות ותשעה עשר לבריאת עולם”. נתון במסגרת משולבת זכוכית. גודל כולל המסגרת: 42/52 ס”מ בקירוב(המסגרת כ-2 ס”מ בכל צד). דיו דהוי בחלק מהמקומות. מעט קרעים וכתמי זמן. המסגרת פגועה. באופן כללי מצב בינוני - טוב. ראה פריט של אותו אמן שנעשה באותו יום, Winner'S מכירה 136 פריט פריט 305
