On important letters  from Gedolei Yisrael - on matters of shechitah following government decrees - on correcting the calculations and determination of the molad in various regions and more. ”Enclosed is a letter... from the posek  of our generation... Harav Moshe Feinstein zt”l... will certainly enjoy [reading] it; it has not yet been printed anywhere. Also enclosed is a letter... from... the Chazon Ish zt”l ...” ”He mentioned the eitzah  of slaughtering at a slant etc, after all, this is not merely a stringency that ends up causing a leniency... there is also room for serious concern...” ”For the sake of zikkui harabbim  and the strengthening of religion with which i am currently engaged... calculating the time of the molad and the final time for Kiddush Levanah... the time difference from the Holy City of Yerushalayim…” ”For my dear friend the Gaavad… please inquire at shops serving stamp and coin collectors, where magnifying glasses are sold... and purchase a magnifying glass. It may be sent with a student returning here to study, for example at Yeshivas Brisk or Mir...” Both leaves are filled with writing on both sides. One leaf measures 21/27 cm; the other measures 16.5/22 cm. Fold lines and a few stains. Overall Condition: Very Good.
